Aster Exchange confirmed a partnership with World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a company linked to Donald Trump, to list trading pairs with the USD1 stablecoin within its ecosystem. The collaboration kicks off with the RAVE/USD1 pair as part of the “Rocket Launch Round 4” program, offering a 1.5x token boost in Stage 4 Harvest.
The platform plans to expand USD1 pairs, including potential combinations with BTC, ETH, and SOL, using the stablecoin as a base currency to provide stability in volatile markets. Aster enables MEV-free execution and leverage up to 100x, targeting both retail and institutional traders, while its native ASTER token manages asset buybacks within the ecosystem, boosting demand as trading activity increases.
Following the announcement, RAVE surged 20% and ASTER initially rose 15% before dropping 2.7%, while total value locked on the platform exceeded $1 billion. WLFI fell 4.79%, reflecting investor caution amid competition from more liquid stablecoins. Analysts warn that RAVE is highly volatile and that USD1 faces challenges against established stablecoins with deeper liquidity.
The partnership aims to drive USD1 adoption, increase trading volume, and strengthen DEXs infrastructure.
