Binance Wallet has announced that it would temporarily suspend APX trading. Binance Alpha users will be impacted while the platform facilitates the token swap. Trading for Aster DEX (ASTER) is scheduled to commence on the same day. Meanwhile, ASTER price noted a significant surge in its value over the last 24 hours.
Binance Wallet has announced that it will suspend trading for APX. It would be a temporary move to facilitate the process of token swap. Temporary suspension for APX trading is scheduled to happen on September 19, 2025, at 01:00 UTC, specifically for the users of Binance Alpha.

Starting from 2025-09-19 at 01:00 UTC, Binance will temporarily suspend trading for APX to facilitate the token swap.

The token swap from APX to ASTER will happen in 1:1, with trading for ASTER scheduled to resume on the same day, effective 08:00 UTC. Interestingly, Binance Wallet had originally planned to implement the APX trading suspension on October 01, 2025, at 05:00 UTC.
The announcement comes weeks after Binance Wallet launched DEX Pro Mode. It was made available with a secure auto sign in the wallet. The update brought security and transparency of verifiable self-custody with the convenience and pace of automated trading.
APX was last noted at a value of $0.47226 on Binance Alpha. Users could only accumulate APX by first setting up the wallet and then buying a stablecoin. The stablecoin bought had to be swapped for APX, and the token would then be stored in Binance Wallet.
ASTER is currently up by 438.78% over the last 24 hours. The token is exchanging hands at $0.4555 when the article is being drafted, as per data from CoinMarketCap. The 24-hour trading volume is up by 2904.17% at the moment. The token has recorded an ATH of $0.5113 and an ATL of $0.08439 within a time window of 48 hours.
Binance Wallet earlier announced that Binance Alpha became the first to feature BARD. Alpha trading went live on September 18, 2025, at 10:00 UTC with a total airdrop of 7,500,000 BARD tokens. A total of 100 BARD tokens are up for grabs via Binance Alpha Points.

BARD can be claimed within 24 hours in two phases. The first phase has a time window of 18 hours and the second phase has a time window of 6 hours, with an allocated Binance Alpha Points of 215 and 200, respectively.
Nevertheless, all eyes are on the temporary suspension of APX as Binance Wallet facilitates the token swap to ASTER. Trading is scheduled to resume on October 19, 2025, at 08:00 UTC, after the token swap in 1:1 has concluded.
