Direct Naira Deposits and Withdrawals Launch in Nigeria
The major highlight of the update is direct Naira deposit and withdrawal support. Nigerian users can now move funds between their bank accounts and crypto wallets without relying on third-party off-ramps. The feature launches first in Nigeria, with additional countries to follow once it secures the required regulatory licenses.

Version 6.0.0 expands wallet functionality with two new additions: native Bitcoin support and Celia Cash transfers, alongside general improvements to asset management tools.
Referral Program Expansion by Celia Wallet also promoted its referral rewards system in the update, under which users earn 2% of lifetime fees generated by activity from users they refer.
Countries Where the Celia Wallet Update Is Unavailable. Co-founder Emmanuel Afula announced that the new update will not be available in certain regions due to ongoing regulatory enforcement actions. Affected countries include:
