Bets.io Adds Fiat Payments, Giving Players More Ways to Deposit

06-Jul-2026 Bitcoin Chaser | Latest Cryptocurrency News and Important Bitcoin Stories

Crypto-first casino Bets.io has officially introduced fiat payment support, allowing players to fund their accounts using familiar currencies including US Dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), and British Pounds (GBP).

The move marks another step towards making crypto casinos more accessible to players who may not already hold digital assets. Rather than requiring an initial cryptocurrency purchase, eligible users can now deposit using traditional payment methods before enjoying the platform’s games and promotions.

After testing the new system ourselves, we found the overall process to be straightforward, although one part of the official instructions wasn’t immediately obvious.

Fiat Deposits Are Now Available

According to Bets.io, players can now fund their accounts using several major fiat currencies, including:

  • US Dollar (USD)
  • Euro (EUR)
  • British Pound (GBP)

The operator says the feature has been designed to provide a faster and more familiar funding experience for players who prefer using traditional payment methods instead of cryptocurrency.

Its published guide explains that users should first select their preferred account currency before making a deposit. However, when we tested the feature ourselves, we couldn’t immediately locate where to change the preferred currency from the wallet settings.

Fortunately, there is another simple way to add your preferred fiat payment method.

From Australian Dollars (AUD) to South African Rand (ZAR), Bets.io supports a broad range of fiat currencies, making it easier for players around the world to fund their accounts using familiar payment methods.

How We Added a Fiat Deposit Method

Rather than searching through the wallet settings, we successfully added a fiat payment option directly from the deposit page.

The process was simple:

  1. Open the Deposit (Wallet) section.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the available payment methods.
  3. On desktop, look to the right-hand side for the Add New option.
  4. Click Add New.
  5. Select your preferred fiat currency, such as GBP, EUR or USD.
  6. The selected currency will immediately appear within your list of available payment methods.
  7. Click Deposit and complete the payment form.

If you’re using Google Chrome with saved payment information, much of the form can be completed automatically using Chrome’s built-in autofill feature, making the process even quicker.

Overall, we found this approach considerably easier than trying to locate the currency selection through the wallet settings.

What This Means for Players

The introduction of fiat payments removes one of the biggest barriers facing players who are curious about crypto casinos but don’t already own cryptocurrency.

Instead of purchasing Bitcoin or another digital asset through an exchange before depositing, players can now fund their account using traditional currencies and payment methods where available. For many users, this creates a more familiar onboarding experience while still providing access to Bets.io’s crypto-first casino platform.

It also reflects a wider trend across the industry, with several crypto casinos gradually introducing additional fiat payment options to appeal to a broader audience without abandoning their cryptocurrency roots.

Final Thoughts

The rollout of fiat payments is a welcome addition for Bets.io players, particularly those making their first deposit. While the official instructions suggest selecting your preferred currency through the wallet settings, we found that adding a new payment method directly from the Deposit page was the quickest and most intuitive approach.

Alongside its expanded payment options, Bets.io continues to offer an extensive promotions page featuring welcome bonuses, cashback offers, reload bonuses and VIP rewards, giving new and existing players plenty of incentives once their account has been funded.
