Days Left to File Claim in Disney’s $50,000,000 YouTube TV and DirecTV Settlement

Disney is preparing to pay $50 million to settle claims that it helped push up prices for live TV streaming.

Qualifying YouTube TV and DirecTV Stream subscribers have until September 8th of 2026 to file.

The claim form is on the official settlement site, says the notice in Biddle v. Disney.

The class covers people who paid for YouTube TV or DirecTV Stream, including DirecTV Now and AT&T TV Now, from April 1st of 2019 through March 31st of 2026. FuboTV subscribers are not in this deal.

The suit alleged Disney used its hold on Hulu and ESPN to lift prices across the live-streaming market. Disney denies any wrongdoing.

Payouts are pro rata based on how long someone subscribed, after fees.

The net fund splits 90 percent to residents of repealer jurisdictions and 10 percent to other states. A final approval hearing is set for January 14th of 2027.
