FortuneJack is currently operated by PlayWave SRL, a company registered in Costa Rica (registration CE-2024-206981), licensed by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, under license ALSI-202411021-FI1 — confirmed directly in FortuneJack’s own current terms and conditions.
Unlike several other crypto casinos in this series, FortuneJack has never changed its name or domain — it’s been fortunejack.com since 2014, even as the company behind it changed.
FortuneJack launched as one of the earliest Bitcoin-only casinos. [One source names Jaba Dolidze and JP Gatuslao as founders, with JP Gatuslao as CEO — worth flagging this is single-sourced, similar to the founder claims on other pages in this series, though one review separately describes the original operator as having “roots in Tbilisi, Georgia,” which is at least consistent with the names given rather than contradicting them.]
A Curaçao company (registration 139781), based in Willemstad.
Nexus Group operated FortuneJack as a sub-licensee (8048/JAZ2016-026) of Antillephone N.V., one of Curaçao’s former master license holders — the same pre-reform structure BC.Game and BitStarz operated under in their early years.
This sub-license was confirmed still valid as late as December 2023.
During Curaçao’s LOK reform, both the operating entity and the licensing jurisdiction changed together: operations passed to PlayWave SRL in Costa Rica, and licensing moved from Curaçao to the Anjouan Gaming Board.
Unlike BC.Game’s transition, this doesn’t appear to be connected to any bankruptcy or player-fund dispute — it reads as a standard consequence of the same regulatory reform that reshaped licensing across the whole industry.
FortuneJack is operated by PlayWave SRL under Anjouan license ALSI-202411021-FI1.
This isn’t a spotless record, and it’s worth being direct about both issues rather than presenting FortuneJack as simply “clean”:
Trustpilot placed a “Warning” badge on FortuneJack’s profile after removing fake reviews for breaching platform guidelines — the rating is currently unavailable as a result. This is about review manipulation, not withheld player funds.
LCB (a casino watchdog site) placed FortuneJack on its Warning List over complaints about an external project called JackToken that the casino promoted — players report pending or blocked withdrawals connected to that project specifically, incomplete deliverables, and no official response from the casino.
This is narrower than a core-casino withdrawal dispute — it’s about an affiliated token project — but it’s a real, current, unresolved complaint pattern worth disclosing.
Separately, and more positively: multiple sources report no confirmed sister sites tied to either Nexus Group Enterprises or PlayWave SRL, and no widely-documented regulatory blacklisting comparable to what we found with the Dama N.V. family or BC.Game’s Blockdance/Small House history.
One thing to explicitly avoid: there’s an unrelated scam-alert page about a “Nexus Group” forex broker circulating online — that’s a different company entirely that happens to share a generic name, not FortuneJack’s “Nexus Group Enterprises N.V.” Worth being careful not to conflate the two if this comes up in research or reader questions.
