SimpleSwap Adds $ADI, Providing Direct Self-Custody Access to ADI Chain

23-Jul-2026 Brave New Coin

Anyone can now swap from 2,800+ assets straight into $ADI and land on ADI Chain with gas in hand, wallet-to-wallet.

SimpleSwap and ADI Foundation today announced that $ADI, the native token of ADI Chain, is available for swap on the SimpleSwap exchange. The integration gives users a wallet-to-wallet path onto ADI Chain from any of 2,800+ supported assets.

$ADI is required as the gas fee for transactions on ADI Chain. Through this integration, SimpleSwap now enables a straightforward way to get $ADI. Users select a source asset, enter an ADI Chain wallet address, and receive $ADI directly. No exchange account, deposit, or withdrawal is needed for a standard swap.

The job most new users actually have

The barrier is the same on almost every new chain. To do anything on the network, you need its native token, while the common way to get that token starts with “open an exchange account.” That is an extra account, deposit, and withdrawal before you have done a single thing on the chain you came for.

There is a second concern underneath the first. Opening an exchange account means parking funds with a custodian, even briefly, just to buy a few dollars’ worth of gas. For a user who chose self-custody on purpose, that is a step in the wrong direction.

What changes now

SimpleSwap turns the whole task into a single swap. The user picks what they are sending, selects $ADI, and confirms the network. Funds move from one wallet they own to another, with SimpleSwap routing the conversion across 20+ liquidity providers under the hood. A fixed rate locks the price for 20 minutes for a predictable gas top-up, while a floating rate follows the market.

The result reframes onboarding. Instead of “sign up, deposit, trade, withdraw,” the user gets simple access to ADI Chain from assets they already hold, keeps their keys the entire way, and arrives ready to build.

Why it matters beyond one token

ADI Foundation’s vision is to onboard one billion people on-chain by 2030. ADI Chain supports this through use cases across stablecoin, asset tokenization, and digital identity for institutions, governments, and individual users. A self-custody onboarding path into $ADI reduces a key friction point for all of these audiences and supports broader network adoption without dependency on centralized exchange infrastructure.

Ivan Branitskiy, Head of DeFi of ADI Foundation: “ADI Chain is designed for institutions, governments, and individuals to operate on the same infrastructure. Making that accessible starts with how people get onto the network. SimpleSwap’s self-custody provides simple routing into $ADI, allowing any user to join ADI Chain directly from assets they already hold, without routing through a centralized exchange or giving up control of their funds to do it.”

Stefan Lauer, Head of Infrastructure at SimpleSwap: “People shouldn’t have to open an exchange account just to get gas for a new network. With this integration, anyone can reach $ADI from assets they already hold, wallet to wallet, and start using ADI Chain while keeping their keys.”
