NASSCOM represents India’s $283 billion tech sector spanning across IT services, software, a range of startups, global capability centers, and emerging technologies like blockchain.
NASSCOM plays a critical role in policy advocacy, industry standards, and enterprise collaboration with new technologies, helping to position India as an international hub for digital infrastructures.
Staying within the realm of India, Vignesh Raja of the Hedera Foundation joined a meeting on Secret Mountain, a music project of A.R. Rahman, one of India’s biggest musicians, with Sam Altman of OpenAI also being in attendance.
The meeting took place in July 2025 in OpenAI’s San Francisco HQ, with many spectators still awaiting more solid, concrete news on what Secret Mountain on Hedera actually entails.
Membership in NASSCOM gives Hashgraph Labs India direct access to connections between enterprises, policymakers, and tech leaders based in the region.
