President Zelenskyy announced the meeting via his X account, characterizing the discussions as fruitful and confirming that both organizations would maintain ongoing coordination through their respective teams.

“Palantir stands as a globally recognized organization with significant capabilities, and there are undoubtedly opportunities for mutual benefit,” Zelenskyy stated.

Palantir’s involvement with Ukraine dates back to 2022. In its statement shared on X, the technology company emphasized that its software implementation in Ukrainian military operations “will shape how the Western alliance conducts warfare and achieves victory for generations to come.”

At the heart of this enhanced collaboration lies the Brave1 Dataroom initiative, a joint venture between Ukraine and Palantir. This platform provides AI developers with unprecedented access to authentic battlefield intelligence gathered throughout the ongoing conflict, enabling them to train specialized models for military applications.

Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine’s Defense Minister, who held a separate discussion with Karp, revealed that over 100 organizations are currently utilizing the platform to train more than 80 AI models. These systems primarily concentrate on identifying and neutralizing airborne threats in real-time combat scenarios.

Tangible Outcomes from the Collaboration

Fedorov outlined the measurable achievements stemming from the Palantir partnership. Ukraine has successfully developed a comprehensive air assault analysis infrastructure, implemented AI solutions for processing substantial intelligence volumes, and incorporated these capabilities into strategic planning for deep strike missions.

“In today’s warfare, technology, artificial intelligence, data interpretation, and mathematical modeling directly influence battlefield outcomes,” Fedorov emphasized on Telegram after his discussion with Karp.

The Brave1 Dataroom project was initially introduced months earlier with the core objective of enhancing interceptor drones with AI functionality to defend against Russian unmanned aerial attacks.

Fedorov characterized Karp as “a leader who has personally supported us from 2022 onward” and noted that the Kyiv visit represented a strengthening of a partnership now characterized by “measurable achievements.”

Ukraine’s Comprehensive AI Strategy

Fedorov assumed the Defense Minister position in January with explicit instructions to execute a data-centric transformation of Ukraine’s military framework. His engagement with Karp forms part of this wider strategic initiative.

Ukraine’s use of AI has progressed far beyond trial phases. The incorporation into deep strike strategic planning specifically demonstrates how thoroughly Palantir’s technology has been integrated into ongoing military operations.

Palantir’s platforms are characterized by Fedorov as “trusted by NATO forces,” and the corporation maintains a current market valuation exceeding $330 billion.

Karp’s physical presence in Kyiv highlights the strategic importance both parties assign to this alliance. This represents precisely the type of partnership Palantir has consistently pursued — direct integration within critical operational theaters.

Fedorov concluded his remarks by expressing gratitude to Karp and the Palantir organization “for their steadfast support and dedication to our triumph.”
