The company’s cryptocurrency reserves stand unchanged at 840,447 BTC, representing a total investment of $63.36 billion when accounting for transaction fees—translating to an average entry point of $75,385 per Bitcoin.

Capital allocation from the $333.7 million raise broke down as follows: $52.4 million directed toward bi-monthly STRC preferred stock dividend obligations, $132.2 million deployed to repurchase approximately 1.39 million STRC shares, with the balance of $149.1 million strengthening Strategy’s dollar-denominated reserves.

As of Sunday, Strategy’s U.S. dollar holdings total $4.8 billion, inclusive of pending settlement amounts.

Saylor Addresses Share Repurchase Speculation

During Monday’s Q&A session, Executive Chairman Michael Saylor tackled the buyback question head-on. “It’s not a priority,” he stated plainly, though he acknowledged a scenario “if MSTR is trading at a very, very deep discount to NAV” where repurchases might make sense.

MSTR has shed approximately 38% of its value in 2026 and 73% over the past year, pressured by Bitcoin’s price weakness and persistent shareholder dilution from ongoing equity issuances. Monday’s session brought a 5% recovery for the stock.

CEO Phong Le countered dilution criticisms, maintaining that issuing shares at premiums to net asset value and converting proceeds into Bitcoin can actually enhance per-share Bitcoin backing.

Treasury Management: STRC and Liquidity First

STRC’s recent price volatility has reshaped Strategy’s treasury management approach. Le identified maintaining adequate liquidity for STRC dividend commitments as the critical takeaway.

Saylor emphasized that Strategy will prioritize maintaining substantial cash positions moving forward, preserving optionality for Bitcoin acquisitions, equity or preferred share repurchases, or debt reduction.

He further revealed a strategic shift regarding Bitcoin holdings themselves. “We have to be able to sell bitcoin as well as buy bitcoin,” Saylor acknowledged.

Regarding future Bitcoin purchasing strategy, Saylor outlined a framework where Strategy may maintain elevated cash levels when BTC prices trade substantially above the 200-week moving average. Conversely, prices at or below that technical threshold could trigger accumulation.

The STRC instrument is engineered to maintain price stability around $100 while generating dividend income rather than capital appreciation. Strategy’s approach involves selling STRC above $100 and executing buybacks when prices dip below that threshold.

Monday’s premarket session saw STRC decline 0.12% to $94.67, following Friday’s $94.78 close.
