Lucie, a member of the Shiba Inu team, dismissed rumors about the project’s disappearance, stating that the ecosystem “is still here, still building, and still fighting.” Her statement comes after several months without major announcements or partnerships.

Shibarium, the project’s layer-2 network, remains active and has now surpassed 14 million blocks. In September, a bridge incident prompted developers to introduce additional security measures.

The SHIB token is trading at $0.000009895, down 1.99% in the last 24 hours and 88.87% below its all-time high reached in 2021. It has gained 9.2% over the past week but remains down 61.9% year-to-date.

The ecosystem’s lead ambassador, Shytoshi Kusama, has been inactive on social media since September. Analysts and traders are watching closely to see whether the price forms a new lower high or manages to sustain its recent rally. Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s movement will continue to define the broader altcoin market trend.
