On the 29th of August, Changpeng “CZ,” the former CEO at Binance, shared in an interview that Bitcoin is steadily moving towards becoming the world’s reserve currency. According to Him, more and more companies (both private and public alike), especially in traditional finance, are now adding the cryptocurrency to their balance sheets and source of financial reserve more than ever before.
For the longest time, Zhao has been one of Bitcoin’s strongest supporters. When the coin hit a new record high of $122,000 on the 14th ofJuly, he reminded traders that the rally was only the beginning and that it was positioned for much greater growth.
Based off the fact that he started building his Bitcoin portfolio in 2014 and he watched Bitcoin hit $1,000 in 2017, he stands very confident in the future moves of the token. For him, each milestone is simply another step toward Bitcoin’s larger role in the global financial system.
