A private key leak led to a loss of about $21 million from the Hyperliquid wallet 0x0cdC. The hacker stole roughly $17.5 million in DAI stablecoins and 3.11 million SYRUPUSDP tokens. Following the theft, these funds were moved cross-chain to the Ethereum network. This incident highlights ongoing risks in decentralized finance, especially related to wallet security and private key management, emphasizing the need for stronger safeguards in crypto platforms.
