President Donald Trump has pardoned Binance founder Changpeng Zhao. The pardon came after CZ’s efforts to support the Trump family’s crypto ventures, including World Liberty Financial USD (USD1) and WLFI. The White House said Trump acted to end the “Biden Administration’s war on cryptocurrency.”
Following the announcement, BNB price jumped over 5% to trade above $1,130 at press time. Meanwhile, Binance has not commented on the pardon.
