Dunamu CEO Oh Kyung-seok has apologised after a security breach at crypto exchange Upbit led to the theft of around 44.5 billion KRW in digital assets. He promised users would be fully compensated and said the company is strengthening wallet security, reviewing its systems, and working with regulators to find the cause. The exchange has paused deposits and withdrawals while it secures funds and tries to restore confidence after its biggest hack in years.
