XRP ETF Launch LIVE Updates: $26 Million in First 30 Minutes, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse Reacts

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse celebrated the historic launch of the first U.S. spot XRP ETF with a simple but powerful message on X: “It’s (finally!) happening.”

His reaction came moments after trading began on Nasdaq, marking a major milestone for XRP’s journey into traditional finance.

Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas shared that Canary Capital’s Spot XRP ETF (XRPC) has already reached $26 million in trading volume within its first 30 minutes on Robinhood.

Balchunas admitted the figure far exceeded his initial $17 million prediction, noting that XRPC could surpass Solana’s $BSOL ETF, which recorded $57 million on its first day — the highest of any ETF launch this year.

Canary Capital’s XRPC, the first U.S. spot XRP ETF, is showing impressive early momentum. In just the first 30 minutes of trading, the fund recorded over 916,000 in volume.

Within just five minutes of opening on Robinhood, trading volume surpassed $500,000, following an initial $130,000 right at market open.

Canary Capital has launched XRPC, its Spot XRP ETF, offering investors exposure to the native XRP token. The fund aims to track the XRP Ledger’s performance across global payments and liquidity protocols.

Canary said XRPC is built for speed, efficiency, and scalability, backed by XRP’s real-world use in cross-border transfers. The firm called the XRP Ledger a leading framework for global payments with low-cost, near-instant transactions and rising enterprise adoption.

Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart expects strong demand for the newly launched Canary Capital Spot XRP ETF ($XRPC). In a post on X, Seyffart said he’s betting on “the over,” predicting around $34 million in day-one trading volume as the ETF begins trading today.
