Adjusted EPS came in at $0.22, beating the analyst consensus by $0.11. Revenue hit $1.63 billion, clearing the $1.54 billion estimate by a comfortable margin.

The stock move reflected a clean beat on both the top and bottom line, paired with a guidance raise that gave investors more reason to buy.

Revenue for the quarter grew 32% year on year, or 30% on a constant-currency basis. That growth was spread across every segment and every geographic region, which is the kind of broad base that tends to get attention.

Technical Apparel revenue grew 32%, with Arc’teryx posting a 17% omni-comp. Outdoor Performance was the standout, up 37%, driven by Salomon Softgoods. Ball & Racquet grew 24%, led by Wilson Tennis 360.

CEO James Zheng said: “All segments, geographies, and channels achieved strong double-digit growth led by another exceptional quarter from Salomon Softgoods, a strong Arc’teryx omni-comp, and a Wilson Tennis 360 acceleration.”

Margins Expand Well Beyond Expectations

Adjusted operating margin came in at 12.8%, an expansion of 730 basis points year on year. That included a 390 basis point tailwind from net tariff refunds.

Even stripping out the tariff benefit, the underlying margin expanded by more than 300 basis points. That suggests the improvement is not purely a one-time accounting item.

CFO Andrew Page said the investments the company has been making are “paying off in the form of strong momentum across our three largest opportunities: Arc’teryx, Salomon Softgoods, and Wilson Tennis 360.”

Full-Year Guidance Raised Across the Board

Following the Q2 beat, Amer Sports lifted its full-year 2026 outlook. The company now expects adjusted EPS of $1.27 to $1.30, with the midpoint of $1.29 sitting above the $1.26 analyst consensus.

Full-year revenue growth guidance was raised to approximately 24%. Adjusted operating margin guidance was lifted to a range of 14.2% to 14.5%.

For Q3, management guided for adjusted EPS of $0.31 to $0.33 and revenue growth of 18% to 20%.

Arc’teryx, Salomon Softgoods, and Wilson Tennis 360 remain the three growth priorities the company is pointing to as the key drivers heading into the back half of the year.

Amer Sports last traded at $32.57 ahead of Tuesday’s open, with pre-market pricing reflecting the 6.60% gain following the earnings release.
