TL;DR:
Between October 2026 and January 2027, stablecoin issuer Circle will end support for USDC and CCTP V1 on Noble. The company announced this Thursday that the move comes as part of a transition toward its next-generation infrastructure, CCTP V2—a protocol that will not be deployed on the network.
Circle’s official timeline reveals that Circle Mint users will be able to operate normally on Noble until October 12, 2026. One day later, the platform will suspend the issuance of new USDC tokens within this environment. However, redemptions will remain enabled for three additional months to facilitate an orderly exit of capital.
Internal transfers within the Noble network will continue to function between October 13 and January 12, 2027. Details from the corporate announcement suggest that daily burn limits for CCTP V1 will be reduced starting October 31, 2026, gradually scaling down to zero as the service decommissioning progresses.
Starting December 1, 2026, exit routes via CCTP V1 could become significantly more limited, the company warned. This restriction will arise as other destination chains begin disconnecting their legacy integrations with the first version of the transfer protocol.

The firm advised institutional and self-custody holders to migrate their assets to other compatible chains ahead of the established deadline. Viable options highlighted include centralized exchanges supporting Noble network deposits, local decentralized exchanges, and CCTP V1 bridges to supported ecosystems.
On January 12, 2027, the issuer will execute the permanent pause of the USDC smart contract on Noble and will disable all routes associated with CCTP V1. Developers with applications connected to these channels must remove the links prior to the shutdown, as any transfer routed through them will become permanently inoperable.
According to guidelines published by the company, a snapshot of the remaining on-chain balances will be taken on January 12. Starting January 13, 2027, users still holding tokens will need to utilize a manual redemption process subject to identity verification, regulatory compliance requirements, and direct custody of the associated private key.
The company stated that this restructuring does not represent an exit from the interconnected Cosmos ecosystem, where it maintains active integrations with platforms such as Injective and various decentralized finance protocols. Alongside this phaseout, corporate data from September 2026 reflects that the organization expanded its CCTP infrastructure for native EURC transfers and broadened its multichain footprint across networks such as Cronos.
The next milestone on the schedule will occur on October 13, 2026, when the minting of new USDC on the Noble network will be formally blocked via Circle’s institutional interface.
