TL;DR
US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded their strongest daily inflows in more than three weeks on Thursday, pulling in $233.1 million and reversing the week’s earlier weakness. The surge arrived despite a soft patch in the Bitcoin price, signaling that institutional appetite remains steady even as market volatility persists.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust dominated Thursday’s activity with $183.4 million in net inflows, representing nearly 79% of the day’s total. Bitwise’s BITB added $20.7 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC brought in $15.5 million. Several other Bitcoin ETFs posted smaller gains, rounding out a session that pushed weekly flows back into positive territory.
With $203.84 million now in net inflows for the week, the group is positioned to close its fourth straight week in the green unless Friday delivers an outflow exceeding that figure. July is also shaping up favorably. After Thursday’s activity, monthly net inflows reached $437.8 million, putting Bitcoin ETFs on track to break a two‑month streak of multibillion‑dollar outflows.

The renewed demand did little to stabilize Bitcoin’s short‑term price action. The cryptocurrency began the period near $64,500 and briefly climbed toward $65,000 before a rejection above $65,200 sent it lower. By press time, Bitcoin traded near $63,700, down roughly 1.3% over 24 hours. The movement suggests that selling pressure remains elevated even as Bitcoin ETFs continue attracting fresh capital. The divergence between ETF inflows and spot price performance highlights a market still searching for direction.
Spot Ether ETFs posted $13.3 million in net inflows on Thursday, adding to a month marked by improved sentiment. The funds have recorded outflows during only five trading sessions in July, a notable shift from June, when they logged net inflows on just four days. Ether traded at $1,905 at the time of writing.
