Dogecoin (DOGE) is sitting at $0.08597 as of September 10, 2026, down 4% over 24 hours. The price has ranged between $0.08516 and $0.09152 in that period, with a market cap of $13.4 billion.

A cup-and-handle pattern is forming on the 12-hour chart, flagged by analyst Trader Tardigrade. The rounded base suggests accumulation, while the tighter handle points to consolidation below resistance. A breakout would need a decisive close above the handle trendline with rising volume.

❇️ #Dogecoin has moved above the handle.
A candle close above the handle trendline confirms the Cup and Handle breakout and activates the measured move toward $0.10 🔥
Confirmation:
– Close above the handle resistance
– Volume expansion on the break

The $0.10 level is the key target if momentum builds. Without that confirmation, DOGE could stay range-bound and revisit nearby support first.
Analyst dogegod flagged that Dogecoin’s open interest has hit a record 16.38 billion DOGE, worth close to $1.5 billion. That means more leveraged positions are open in the market than at any previous point.
Set against today’s long liquidations — which made up 95% of total liquidations at $6.83 million over 24 hours — the data suggests the recent rally was driven more by leveraged speculation than spot buying.
Analyst dogegod also noted that whale holdings have climbed to a record 108.52 billion DOGE, roughly $10 billion. Large holders increasing their positions reduces available supply, which can create positive sentiment.

However, some whale wallets belong to exchanges rather than individuals. Traders are watching exchange inflows and outflows closely alongside these balance figures.
On the technical side, DOGE broke above its upper Bollinger Band in late August, spiking toward $0.10 before pulling back. The MACD crossed above the zero line with growing green histogram bars. Price is sitting above its 20-period moving average of $0.0871.
The daily chart on Binance shows DOGE drifting lower inside a descending triangle since the August 21 peak. RSI reads 54.09, below its moving average of 57.90, indicating cooled momentum without a clearly bearish reading.
Dogecoin has been listed on the Solana network by Sunrise, giving DOGE holders access to Solana’s faster blockchain. This opens the token to Solana’s DeFi ecosystem and new users.
Analyst RAFAELA_RIGO_ posted on X that she sees DOGE’s market cap growing from $14.8 billion to $43 billion this cycle, with a max price target of $0.25. She described it as a realistic target that accounts for supply inflation, noting it represents a 3.8x move from the cycle bottom.
MACRO TARGET
Going from $14.8B to $43B is what I see for this cycle
Max target $0.25
✅3.8X from bottom price
It may sound conservative for most people, but this is my target. Is a realistic one, respecting supply inflation
What’s your target?

A confirmed break above triangle resistance on volume would target $0.10083, then $0.11546, and $0.12783. A break below support shifts focus to $0.08016, $0.07439, and $0.06773. Binance leads futures volume at $659.71 million over 24 hours, followed by OKX at $444.60 million and Bybit at $196.02 million.
