Fiserv, Inc. (FISV) shares traded at $50.75, down 1.80%, during Tuesday’s session. The decline came as the company announced an exclusive embedded finance partnership with Datavault AI. The agreement expands Fiserv’s payment and banking services into digital marketplaces and tokenized commerce platforms.
Fiserv will serve as the exclusive embedded financial services and payments provider for Datavault AI. The agreement covers banking, payments, card programs, and digital financial services across the company’s marketplaces. Users will access financial tools without leaving the platforms where transactions occur.
The partnership relies on Fiserv’s Embedded Finance platform to support digital commerce. The platform will provide banking services, payment capabilities, and digital asset programs for Datavault AI customers. The integration aims to simplify financial transactions inside specialized online marketplaces.
Fiserv will also contribute its existing payments infrastructure and card issuing capabilities. The company expects the arrangement to support buyers, sellers, athletes, and sponsors using Datavault AI platforms. As a result, participants will complete transactions through integrated financial services instead of external payment channels.
Datavault AI plans to launch its NIL Exchange as a marketplace for eligible high school and college athletes. The platform will allow athletes to monetize their name, image, and likeness where applicable laws and regulations permit. Universities and agencies will help connect athletes with sponsorship opportunities.
Fiserv will enable digital payment wallets and debit card programs through its embedded finance platform. The payment infrastructure will allow athletes to receive, manage, and spend sponsorship earnings without additional banking barriers. The integrated system aims to streamline payment distribution across the marketplace.
Datavault AI stated that combining commerce and payments inside one platform creates a more efficient experience. The company expects integrated financial services to strengthen participation across the exchange. Meanwhile, embedded payment capabilities support faster transactions between sponsors and eligible athletes.
Fiserv will also support Datavault AI’s Information Data Exchange, which focuses on buying and selling data assets. The company will provide demand deposit accounts alongside payment card capabilities for marketplace participants. Buyers and sellers will complete transactions through integrated financial services.
The Information Data Exchange uses patented technology to facilitate data asset transactions. Fiserv’s infrastructure will connect financial services directly with those commercial activities. The partnership strengthens Datavault AI’s strategy of combining financial technology with digital asset marketplaces.
Embedded finance continues to gain adoption across digital commerce as companies integrate payments directly into customer experiences. Fiserv has expanded its presence in this market through partnerships with technology providers across multiple industries. The Datavault AI agreement adds another deployment of its embedded finance platform while extending payment capabilities into digital marketplaces focused on tokenized assets, data exchanges, and NIL commerce.
