A crypto analyst known as Hov flagged that an early $26 entry on HYPE has now returned 240%, while a later position near $55 is up over 50%. These gains reflect sustained buying pressure in the market.

On the technical side, HYPE is trading above all major exponential moving averages — the 20 EMA sits at $78.29, with the 50, 100, and 200 EMAs stacked below in bullish order. The MACD also shows buyers still in control.

Whale Accumulation Signals Long-Term Confidence

On-chain tracker Lookonchain reported that a wallet known as “0x6436” bought another 343,000 HYPE tokens for around $29.09 million. This whale now holds 3.24 million HYPE tokens valued at roughly $252 million.

What stands out is that the whale has staked the full holding, suggesting a long-term position rather than a short-term trade. That kind of commitment tends to reduce circulating supply and signals conviction in the asset.

Institutional ETF Holdings Reach $75 Million

Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart compiled 13F filings showing that 30 known institutions held a combined $74.9 million in Hyperliquid ETF exposure as of June 30.

Wu Blockchain shared Seyffart’s data on X, highlighting that Wealth High Governance Asset Management led the list with $23.9 million, followed by OLP Capital Management at $10.5 million, UBS at $7.5 million, Bank of Montreal at $6.7 million, and Jane Street at $4.4 million. Together, the top five accounted for over 70% of total disclosed exposure.

Three U.S.-listed HYPE ETFs exist: 21Shares launched THYP on May 12, Bitwise followed with BHYP, and Grayscale launched HYPG in June. Combined, they hold $480.86 million in net assets and have seen $356.58 million in net inflows since launch.

HYPE also entered the Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index US ETF with a 3.4% weight, making it the fifth-largest holding behind Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and Solana.

Friday’s ETF inflow of $10.52 million went entirely to Bitwise’s BHYP.
