Jim Cramer gave CoreWeave a clear endorsement on CNBC’s “Mad Money” Lightning Round this week, saying: “If you’re going to do neoclouds, the only one I like is CoreWeave.”
The comment came after a viewer asked Cramer about IREN. He didn’t hold back.
CRWV opened at $89.36 on Tuesday. The stock has gained about 18% year to date, ahead of the S&P 500’s roughly 13% advance. Its 12-month range sits between $60.55 and $153.20.

CoreWeave reported Q2 revenue of $2.58 billion, up 112.5% year over year. The company also beat EPS estimates, posting a loss of $1.14 per share against analyst expectations of $1.52.
Backlog grew 56% sequentially to $104 billion in Q2, a number that has driven much of the bullish sentiment around the stock.
Despite the strong top-line growth, CoreWeave carries a negative net margin of 25.41% and a negative return on equity of 47.95%. The debt-to-equity ratio stands at 5.53.
Several large investors have been building positions. Proficio Capital Partners increased its CoreWeave holding by over 446,000%, now owning 17.85 million shares worth around $2.44 billion.
Alyeska Investment Group raised its stake by 55.7% in Q2, bringing its total to 10.89 million shares. HB Wealth Management initiated a new position of 39,599 shares valued at roughly $3.94 million.
Bank of America and Deutsche Bank also added to their positions during recent quarters.
While institutions are buying, insiders have been heading for the exit. Over the past three months, insiders sold more than 7 million shares worth around $649.8 million.
CFO Nitin Agrawal sold 5,509 shares on August 25 at an average price of $88.64. Insider Brannin McBee sold 500 shares on August 24 at $85.51. Both trades were executed under pre-arranged Rule 10b5-1 plans.
Insiders currently own 24.20% of the company’s stock.
On the analyst side, 21 analysts rate CRWV a Buy, 10 a Hold, and 3 a Sell. The consensus price target sits at $141.90, well above the current trading price of $89.36.
Price targets range widely. Rosenblatt has a $250 target. Cantor Fitzgerald set $176. Truist raised its target to $165. Roth Capital is at $145.
Cramer’s pick puts CoreWeave above neocloud rivals that have also posted strong numbers. Nebius Q2 revenue surged 454% to $582 million. IREN reported fiscal Q4 revenue of $137.2 million, with AI Cloud revenue up 110% sequentially.
Nebius stock has roughly tripled in 2026. IREN is up about 10.2%. CoreWeave’s 18% gain sits in the middle of the group.
CoreWeave’s 50-day moving average is $85.20, and its 200-day moving average is $94.37. The market cap stands at $41 billion.
