TL;DR
The recovery of Polkadot gained momentum in recent hours: DOT is trading at $1.26 according to CoinMarketCap, with a 20% gain in 24 hours and a daily volume surpassing $383 million.
Thanks to this jump, not only did it surpass the psychological level of $1, but it has already left it behind and advances into the technical resistance zone that analysts identified as the true breakout threshold. The question now is whether demand has enough depth to sustain its advance.
The context of its network accompanies the rally. Recent reports point to an increase of approximately 150% in daily network activity, although a significant portion of that surge is linked to the deployment of the Polkadot Products Devnet. That distinction is crucial: activity in development environments does not automatically equate to organic adoption on the mainnet, and treating both phenomena as equivalent would distort the reading of the ecosystem.

On the other hand, the project’s development roadmap remains a background factor. Polkadot 2.0, Agile Coretime, Elastic Scaling and the long-term transition toward JAM aim to make the network’s infrastructure more flexible and scalable. Agile Coretime, in particular, replaced the previous model of long-duration parachain slots with more dynamic access to blockspace, reducing barriers for projects looking to build on Polkadot.
From a technical analysis standpoint, DOT broke a prolonged bearish structure before accelerating into the resistance zone between $1.10 and $1.20, which was already left behind with the jump of recent hours. Volume accompanied the move, which reinforces the validity of the breakout and suggests real participation, not merely short-term speculative movements. The next technical reference sits around $1.30, where additional resistance levels lie if momentum continues.

The risk lies below the $1.00 level, which now acts as immediate support. A more solid support zone is found between $0.90 and $0.93. The RSI advanced sharply alongside the price, confirming the momentum, although it also warns that the surge may be overextended in the short term and leave room for consolidation before a new breakout attempt.
