PUMP has had a strong week. The token was trading near $0.0028 on Aug. 11, up 33.8% over seven days and more than 104% over the past 30 days. Its circulating market cap stands at around $1.1 billion.

The price recovery has come alongside a clear uptick in platform activity on Pump.fun, the Solana-based token launch platform behind the token.
Pump.fun reported $10.03 million in protocol fees for the week of Aug. 3–9. That was a 12% increase from the previous week and the first time weekly revenue crossed $10 million under its current reporting series.

Ecosystem trading volume for the same period reached $2.97 billion. Pump.fun called it the strongest weekly trading total since late January. PumpSwap accounted for $2.22 billion of that, with bonding curve volume making up the remaining $751.6 million.
Over the past 30 days, DefiLlama data shows Pump.fun generated $35.67 million in revenue. That puts it ahead of Hyperliquid, which recorded $32.46 million over the same window.
The two platforms are measured differently on DefiLlama. Pump’s figure covers bonding curve fees, PumpSwap protocol fees and Terminal fees. Hyperliquid’s figure mainly reflects fees routed to its Assistance Fund for HYPE purchases.
Pump.fun also confirmed it spent $5.02 million buying back and burning approximately 2.15 billion PUMP during the week. The platform routes 50% of its net revenue to automated buybacks and burns through a locked smart contract. Cumulative burns have now offset 15.7% of PUMP’s original total supply.
On Aug. 7, Pump.fun launched an updated social trading product. The new features include token callouts to followers, zero-fee trading and cross-chain USDC support. The platform said callouts rose 44% and replies increased 87% during the week.

Despite the rally, a scheduled supply event is approaching. DefiLlama’s unlock schedule shows 4.167 billion PUMP for the team and 2.708 billion for existing investors set to unlock around Aug. 12. The combined 6.875 billion PUMP was valued at roughly $19.2 million at current prices, representing about 1.75% of circulating supply.
A separate source puts the unlock figure at 7.07 billion PUMP on Aug. 14.
Technically, PUMP is trading above the upper Bollinger Band on the daily chart, which sits near $0.00270. The 4-hour Stochastic RSI was around 88–91, above the 80 level that typically signals overbought conditions.
PUMP remains roughly 68% below its September 2025 record high. The token has risen from around $0.0012 in late June to its current level near $0.0028.
