Raydium (RAY) has posted gains of nearly 9% on Thursday alone, extending a 41% rally that started on Sunday. Over the past week, the token is up 96.5%, reaching its highest price since January.

The rally has been driven by a combination of new product launches, record on-chain activity, and a buyback program that removed tokens from circulation.
Raydium launched more than 15 tokenized US stocks on Solana, including Boeing, Costco, Reddit, Lululemon, and Roblox. These are tradable 24/7 through Backpack Securities and Sunrise Protocol. The move ties Raydium to the growing real-world asset narrative in crypto.
INSIGHT: $RAY is up 96.5% this week, trading at its highest price since January.
Here's why:
🟢 StonkFun moved all new launches to Raydium LaunchLab.
🟢 Raydium recorded its largest buyback of $640,788 on Sept 9, funded by 12% of fees.

CoinGecko highlighted the key drivers behind the move. According to the data provider, StonkFun moved all new launches to Raydium LaunchLab, tokenized stocks like Backpack’s Grindr token are now routed through Raydium, and the platform recorded its largest ever buyback on September 9.
Pump.fun also introduced “Custom Pairs,” allowing memecoins to trade against tokenized stocks and other assets. This places Raydium at the intersection of two active narratives on Solana: memecoins and tokenized real-world assets.
On Wednesday, Raydium bought back $640,788 worth of RAY tokens, the largest single buyback to date. Total cumulative buybacks now stand at $2.1 million. Buybacks reduce the circulating supply of a token, which can support the price when demand remains steady.

On-chain data backs up the activity. Santiment recorded 1,074 new addresses transferring RAY for the first time on Wednesday. DeFiLlama data shows SOL staked on Raydium reached a new high of 470,817 tokens, while active addresses hit 162,085 and transactions reached 3.1 million, both monthly highs.
Earlier in the week, Raydium also launched trading pairs for Bittensor (TAO) and Dogecoin (DOGE), expanding its DeFi offering further.
RAY is trading above $1.35 at the time of writing, holding above its 50-, 100-, and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages. The next target on the upside is around $1.4917, close to the $1.50 psychological level.
The RSI sits near 81, deep in overbought territory. The MACD line remains above its signal line with a positive histogram, suggesting upward momentum is still in place.
Support sits at $1.2910, with a deeper level at $1.1287 and the $1.00 round number below that.
RAY is trading at $1.65 as of September 10, 2026.
