TL;DR:
The exchange’s team at Ring Protocol reported that they will integrate the advanced order protocols dLIMIT and dTWAP, developed by the Layer 3 infrastructure project Orbs, to optimize operations across EVM networks.

Thanks to this integration, platform users will be able to access traditional finance order types without compromising asset decentralization. Traders now have tools to set buy or sell limit prices and to break up large transactions into predetermined time intervals.
The official report from Orbs notes that this decentralized technology is free for the exchange’s users. The integration initially covers the Base, Arbitrum, Ethereum, and BNB Chain networks, expanding execution coverage for active users on these chains.
dLIMIT orders guarantee that trade execution only occurs when the market reaches or exceeds the price set by the user. Data from Orbs suggests that this functionality accounts for real-time market conditions, including gas fluctuations and available liquidity.
On the other hand, the dTWAP function allows users to schedule time-weighted average price strategies. This modality subdivides overall orders into multiple smaller trades distributed over custom intervals to reduce direct impact on liquidity pools.
Ring Protocol operates on the infrastructure of Few Protocol, a layer that wraps tokens prior to their interaction with automated market makers. Official project documentation indicates that this platform has facilitated over $5 billion in cumulative trading volume and maintains a figure exceeding $30 million in total value locked (TVL).
For its part, Orbs operates through a validator network under a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. The Layer 3 protocol acts as a complementary execution layer to develop complex logic beyond the usual limitations of basic smart contracts.
The development team noted that Orbs’ dLIMIT and dTWAP algorithmic order protocol has already been adopted by 38 DEX platforms distributed across 26 different blockchain networks.
After completing the rollout of dLIMIT and dTWAP orders on its initial networks, the Ring Protocol team will keep its expansion roadmap active to bring its exchange solutions to additional networks such as X Layer, MegaETH, HyperEVM, and Unichain.
