Memecoin-stock pairs were the biggest driver, generating $217 million in daily volume. Tokenized stocks accounted for another $127 million. Both categories hit their highest levels to date.
The market cap of tokenized real-world assets on Robinhood Chain has now crossed $84 million. That is up from roughly $12.8 million in mid-July, when the chain was just getting started.
Robinhood Chain launched its public mainnet on July 1 as an Ethereum Layer 2 built on Arbitrum’s Orbit stack. Tokenized stocks were meant to be the main event. The reality turned out differently.
Memecoins dominated decentralized exchange volume from the start. FalconX data from July showed memecoins made up more than 80% of DEX trading in the network’s early weeks.
The dynamic shifted in mid-July when platforms like Bankr and long.xyz let users launch memecoins backed by tokenized-stock liquidity across more than 90 stock tickers on Robinhood Chain.
Pools pairing memecoins with tokenized versions of Nvidia, Tesla, Intel and Roblox quickly appeared among the most active markets on the network. By late July, this model had pushed Robinhood Chain ahead of Solana in tokenized-stock trading volume.
The structure works by allowing tokenized stocks to serve as the liquidity base for speculative tokens, rather than relying solely on stablecoins or ETH. Every memecoin trade in those pools generates a transaction involving the paired stock token.
Combined stock-token volume on Robinhood Chain hit $1 billion for the first time in late August, according to Uniswap founder Hayden Adams. Uniswap has been the network’s main automated market maker since launch.
On the fee side, Robinhood Chain posted a record $3.75 million in user-paid fees in a single 24-hour period, per DefiLlama data. That translated into roughly $377,000 going directly to the Arbitrum DAO treasury in one day.
Under Arbitrum’s Expansion Program, Robinhood Chain routes 10% of its net protocol revenue back to the Arbitrum ecosystem. That breaks down to 8% for the Arbitrum DAO treasury and 2% for the Developer Guild.
Cumulative fees on the chain have already passed $13 million in just two months of operation.
The chain processed more than $12 billion in DEX volume and over 150 million transactions through the end of July. Bernstein cited those figures when it maintained an Outperform rating on Robinhood Markets with a $160 price target.
Robinhood Chain’s RWA market cap stood at roughly $44 million in tokenized assets as of late July, compared to $857 million for Ondo and $487 million for xStocks at that time.
Robinhood Stock Tokens remain unavailable to U.S. investors. The company has structured its Classic Stock Tokens as derivative contracts under MiFID II, with assets held through a U.S.-licensed institution.
