The fund bought $14,577,645 of Stripe Class B Common Stock in secondary transactions on March 9, 2026. Six days later, on March 12, it followed up with a $19,999,971 purchase of ElevenLabs Series D Preferred Stock in a primary transaction.

RVI launched in February 2026 and raised roughly $658.4 million in its IPO, with shares priced at $25. It started trading on the New York Stock Exchange on March 6, 2026 under the ticker RVI — giving retail investors a direct line into a portfolio of pre-IPO companies.

“We’re excited to add Stripe and ElevenLabs to Robinhood Ventures Fund I and are proud to offer retail investors access to these frontier companies,” said Sarah Pinto, President of Robinhood Ventures Fund I.

Stripe and ElevenLabs Join the Portfolio

Stripe was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in both South San Francisco and Dublin. It offers payments, revenue management, and money management tools to businesses of all sizes.

ElevenLabs was founded in 2022 and is based in London. It focuses on AI audio, voice, and speech technology. Its platforms serve millions of users across voice agents, content creation tools, and developer APIs.

The ElevenLabs deal was a primary transaction — meaning the money went directly to the company. The Stripe purchase was done in the secondary market, meaning RVI bought from existing holders rather than the company itself.

Nine Companies and Counting

With these two additions, RVI now holds nine companies in its portfolio. Prior holdings include Databricks, Ramp, and Revolut, among others.

The fund’s structure as a closed-end vehicle means it trades on the exchange like a stock, but its underlying assets are private company stakes — not publicly traded securities.

The fund was described by Robinhood as a way for everyday investors to get exposure to companies that have historically been accessible only to institutions and high-net-worth individuals.

RVI has said it plans to continue adding companies to the portfolio over time, though no specific timeline has been given.

The Stripe investment was disclosed previously, while the ElevenLabs transaction was confirmed on March 17, 2026.
