The platform is designed for counter-unmanned aircraft system training, testing, and evaluation.

CEO Robb Knie framed the launch around a shift in modern warfare. “Mass drone attacks are rapidly changing the modern battlefield and creating an entirely new challenge for military defense systems,” he said.

The platform draws on commercial swarm-coordination technology that has already been used to synchronize thousands of aircraft at once.

At its core is a library of more than 2,500 field-tested formations and flight assets. That gives defense users a broad range of pre-built scenarios to work with from day one.

What Swarm Stage AI Actually Does

Swarm Stage AI is not a weapon. Rocket One is clear on that point. It is an adversarial environment, a system designed to throw coordinated drone threats at defense technologies so those systems can be trained and tested against real-world conditions.

Features include large-scale swarm coordination, an AI threat builder, a 3D mission preview tool, and custom threat scenario development.

The AI threat builder is built to translate defined threat scenarios into coordinated multi-drone behaviors, which means defense teams can tailor simulations to specific operational concerns.

All of it is designed, developed, and operated in the United States.

Who It’s Built For

Rocket One is making the platform available for capabilities briefings, demonstrations, and evaluations with U.S. military organizations, government agencies, defense contractors, and authorized test and training facilities.

Potential use cases include evaluating radar and sensor systems, drone detection and tracking technologies, and command-and-control systems.

The company did not announce any contracts tied to the launch.

Rocket One was explicit that the availability of Swarm Stage AI does not represent a contract, procurement commitment, endorsement, or selection by the U.S. Department of Defense or any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.

The platform launch was announced on August 18, 2026.
