TL;DR:
S&P Global has led a strategic investment in crypto market data provider Kaiko, extending the company’s Series B financing to $110 million as institutional interest in digital asset infrastructure deepens. BNP Paribas, Bpifrance, Broadridge, Canton Foundation, Coinbase Ventures, DRW Venture Capital, Nasdaq Ventures, Royal Bank of Canada, Stellar and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments also joined the round. The unusually broad investor roster signals that crypto data is becoming increasingly important to traditional financial infrastructure. Kaiko did not disclose its valuation, leaving the size of the company’s post-financing worth unclear.
The financing expands a Series B that originally raised $53 million in June 2022, when Eight Roads led the round alongside Revaia and existing investors. The latest extension more than doubles the capital attached to Kaiko’s Series B and brings several major financial institutions directly into its shareholder network. Existing backers Anthemis, Point Nine and Revaia also participated in the new investment. For Kaiko, the new capital arrives as institutional demand increasingly moves beyond basic crypto price feeds toward infrastructure capable of supporting tokenized securities and onchain capital markets. That positioning gives the round strategic significance beyond funding alone for Kaiko and its expanding institutional client base.

The participating investors will also join a Strategic Industry Working Group chaired by Kaiko, focused on data and infrastructure for tokenized markets. That working group turns the funding round into more than a capital injection by creating a forum for large financial firms to shape emerging market infrastructure. Kaiko plans to use the fresh funds to strengthen its core market data business and expand its onchain capital markets offering. The company says its data coverage spans more than 150 exchanges and protocols, giving it a broad base for institutional pricing, liquidity and analytics services.
Kaiko has also been expanding through partnerships and acquisitions. A 2025 integration with Taurus made its pricing and liquidity data available through the institutional infrastructure provider’s platform, while Kaiko later acquired DeFi infrastructure company Cometh and U.S. digital asset data firm Amberdata. The S&P Global investment now arrives as Kaiko combines market data, onchain infrastructure and institutional distribution under a broader strategy. Earlier this month, Kaiko and S&P Dow Jones Indices also launched the S&P Kaiko Digital Asset Indices, bringing their crypto index products together in a single co-branded suite.
