The acquisition increased Strive’s Bitcoin holdings from 20,167 BTC on August 7 to 20,246 BTC. Meanwhile, the company’s cash and cash equivalents declined slightly from $154.9 million to $154.8 million. That cash position leaves Strive with substantial liquidity while it continues operating its broader asset management business.

ASST stock climbed 2.96% to $12.68 during intraday trading as the latest Bitcoin purchase attracted market attention. The move followed a sharp increase after the opening bell and extended positive momentum during the session. Strive’s expanding Bitcoin balance sheet remains an important part of the company’s broader corporate strategy.

Strive’s Bitcoin strategy expanded significantly after its merger with Semler Scientific. The transaction added a substantial Bitcoin position and increased the company’s exposure to digital assets. It also strengthened Strive’s position among publicly traded companies holding large Bitcoin reserves.
The combined business has since emphasized Bitcoin holdings as an important measure of corporate value. Strive also tracks Bitcoin ownership relative to its share count when evaluating treasury performance. However, additional equity issuance can affect that ratio even when total Bitcoin holdings increase.
Strive also maintains its asset management operations alongside its growing Bitcoin treasury. The company manages nearly $3 billion in assets and continues holding significant cash reserves. Its latest purchase shows that Bitcoin remains a central part of its balance-sheet strategy in 2026.
