TLDR

  • SUI trades near $0.72, down roughly 4% in 24 hours and 7% over seven days
  • Analysts are watching the $0.70–$0.71 zone as a key support level for a potential bounce
  • Crypto analyst Ali Martinez has flagged a TD Sequential buy signal on the 12-hour chart
  • A break below $0.71 could push SUI toward the $0.62–$0.63 range
  • The Sui Foundation has bought back over 609,800 SUI tokens since the start of the year

Sui (SUI) is trading near $0.72 after dropping around 4% in the past 24 hours and 7% over the past week. Despite the short-term dip, the token is still up about 5% over the last 30 days.

The main focus for traders right now is the $0.70–$0.71 support zone. If buyers hold this level, analysts see a path toward $0.84–$0.85. A confirmed break below could push SUI down to $0.62–$0.63.

Crypto analyst Bitguru flagged the $0.70 support zone as a key area to watch. According to Bitguru’s setup, a bounce from this level could take SUI back to $0.85, with $0.92 as the next target after that.

Analyst Ali Martinez shared a similar view. He said he would buy SUI again if $0.71 holds, with the top of his channel target at $0.84.

Martinez also flagged a TD Sequential buy signal on SUI’s 12-hour chart. He noted the same indicator previously appeared before a 17% rally. “Now, with $SUI trading near $0.71, the indicator has flashed a fresh buy signal,” Martinez posted.

Analysts Aligned on Support Levels

Michaël van de Poppe also weighed in on the setup. He said he wanted to see the support area hold and noted that a grind back to $0.85 could put numbers above $1 back in focus. He added that he is “remaining positive on this one.”

The fact that two separate analysts, using different methods, arrived at nearly identical levels — $0.70–$0.71 support and $0.84–$0.85 resistance — adds weight to these zones in the near term.

Futures activity is currently outpacing spot trading on SUI. That pattern can amplify price moves through liquidations when leveraged positions unwind.

Ecosystem and Institutional Developments

On the institutional side, the 21Shares Sui ETF (TSUI) began trading on Nasdaq on February 24, 2026. CME Group also launched SUI and Micro SUI futures in May. These products broaden access for institutional traders.

The Sui network surpassed 16.17 billion lifetime transactions as of September 13. The stablecoin market cap on Sui moved above $463 million, up 8.85% over seven days, with USDC accounting for roughly 64% of that total.

The Sui Foundation has also been buying back SUI tokens, with purchases exceeding 609,800 SUI since the start of the year. The buyback is funded by on-chain stablecoin profits, and the tokens are returned to the ecosystem rather than burned.

Monthly token unlocks of around 64 million SUI continue to add supply pressure. CoinMarketCap lists a circulating supply near 4.09 billion against a maximum supply of 10 billion.
