The company also expanded autonomous analog and mixed-signal development capabilities. Engineers define design objectives using natural language before AI agents complete implementation and verification. Synopsys estimates the workflow improves analog engineering productivity by up to three times.
Synopsys also expanded autonomous engineering into computer-aided engineering applications through electronics thermal analysis. The workflow automatically completes simulation setup, processing, and analysis with limited manual input. The solution combines NVIDIA Agent Toolkit with CUDA-X libraries and Ansys Icepak software.
The company also reported broader GPU acceleration across its engineering software portfolio. PrimeSim SPICE simulations achieve speeds up to 18 times faster using NVIDIA GPUs. QuantumATK accelerates semiconductor material simulations by up to 50 times while machine-learned force field simulations reach up to 200 times faster performance.
Synopsys also reported a tenfold improvement for Ansys Lumerical FDTD electromagnetic simulations using NVIDIA GPUs. The companies continue expanding CUDA-X integration across several engineering solvers. Synopsys expects customer availability for the autonomous engineering capabilities during the second half of 2026 while continuing demonstrations at the 2026 Design Automation Conference.
