XRP Price: Whales Are Buying, ETFs Are Flowing In — Can Bulls Finally Push Past $1.30?

23-Jul-2026 CoinCentral

TLDR

  • XRP broke above the $1.13 resistance level and hit a two-week high near $1.16 before pulling back
  • Whale wallets holding 100K–100M XRP grew balances by 2.8% over five weeks
  • US spot XRP ETFs recorded $5.7M in net inflows on July 21, pushing cumulative inflows to ~$1.5B
  • The XRP Ledger has now processed over 1 million agentic AI transactions
  • Key resistance levels to watch are $1.1866, $1.25, and $1.30 — XRP remains below its 100- and 200-day EMAs

XRP is trading around $1.13–$1.14 after briefly touching a two-week high near $1.16. The token broke above a short-term descending channel but gave back some gains as sellers stepped in near that level.

Market data shows XRP has a market cap of roughly $71.4 billion and 24-hour trading volume near $1.55 billion. The token remains well below its all-time high of $3.84 set in January 2018.

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez confirmed the breakout above $1.13 on the one-hour chart, noting XRP had cleared the upper boundary of a descending channel. Martinez identified $1.30 as the next major target following the move.

Analyst EGRAG CRYPTO posted on X that XRP is showing a classic regular bullish divergence on the 3-day chart — price forming a lower low while RSI forms a higher low, suggesting selling momentum is weakening. EGRAG outlined a bullish roadmap: hold the $1.00–$1.10 range, break the descending structure, reclaim $1.30, then target $1.58. The analyst cautioned that a break below the RSI’s rising trendline would weaken the setup, adding: “The divergence is valid. Now price must confirm it.”

Whale Buying and ETF Inflows

Blockchain analytics firm Santiment reported that wallets holding between 100,000 and 100 million XRP increased their combined balances by 2.8% over the past five weeks. At the same time, wallets holding less than 0.1 XRP saw balances fall by 5.2%.

Santiment noted the contrasting data suggests larger holders accumulated while smaller holders reduced exposure. The firm did not identify whale activity as the sole reason behind the price recovery.

US spot XRP ETFs also continued attracting capital. According to SoSoValue, the products recorded $5.7 million in net inflows on July 21, bringing cumulative net inflows to roughly $1.5 billion.

AI Activity on the XRP Ledger

RippleX engineering head J. Ayo Akinyele said the XRP Ledger has now processed more than 1 million agentic AI transactions. Developers are testing autonomous payments for computing, APIs, and data access.

Akinyele said the ledger settles these transactions in three to five seconds at predictable costs. He added: “I think we’ll blast through 10 million and may even get to 100 million within the next couple of years.”

Key Levels to Watch

Analyst DukesMarketAnalysis identified $1.1866 as the first meaningful resistance bulls need to clear. A decisive close above that level would improve the short-term structure.

The RSI sits at around 55–58, above the neutral 50 level but below overbought territory. Shorter-term moving averages are supportive, but XRP remains below the 100-day EMA near $1.23 and the 200-day EMA near $1.44.

Support sits at the 20-day EMA around $1.12. A drop below that level could expose XRP to another test of the $1.08–$1.10 area.
