WEEX today announced a major upgrade to its Copy Trading feature, introducing a new suite of data — rankings, trading style tags, multi-period performance, and risk metrics — designed to help users choose an elite trader based on how they trade, not just how much they’ve made.
Until now, choosing an elite trader mostly meant looking at three numbers: return rate, total profit, and win rate. Useful, but incomplete. Two traders with near-identical returns can be running very different books — one holding low-leverage positions over weeks, the other running high-leverage trades in and out within hours. Same headline number, very different risk.
WEEX has just added the context that was missing: how a trader actually trades, and how their results have held up over time — not just what they’ve made.
Instead of one generic ranking, WEEX Copy Trading now offers four:
Every elite trader’s card and profile now carries tags generated from their trading history — including asset focus (e.g., “BTCД), frequency (“Frequent”), leverage tendency (“Low leverage” or “High leverage), and recent volatility (“High drawdown”).
Tags are descriptive, not predictive — they help you understand a trader’s pattern, not guarantee how they’ll perform going forward.
Return rate tells you what a trader made. It doesn’t tell you how bumpy the ride was to get there — and that’s exactly the gap this update closes. Two additions round out the risk picture:
Every trader’s return rate, profit, win rate, trade count, max drawdown, and equity curve can now be viewed across 7, 30, 90, and 180-day windows, so a hot short-term streak can be checked against longer-term consistency before you decide to follow.
More data points, one goal: helping you see the full picture before your capital follows someone else’s.
A new “Daily Picks” entry point on the Copy Trading homepage surfaces a curated set of elite traders once a day (with an option to mute it for a week if you’d rather browse on your own). It’s a discovery shortcut, not a recommendation. First-time followers are also guided through two quick setup steps — how much to allocate, and whether to copy by fixed amount or fixed ratio — with advanced settings available for anyone who wants finer control. Both the Daily Picks prompt and the onboarding flow can be skipped entirely.
Ready to put this new level of insight to use? Getting started takes just a few taps.
From here on, every decision to follow a trader is backed by more than just a headline return rate — it’s backed by the full picture.
Disclaimer: Copy trading does not guarantee profit. Return rate, win rate, max drawdown, tags, and leaderboard rankings are all based on historical data and are not indicative of future performance. Actual results may differ from what’s shown, due to market volatility, allocated capital, copy ratio, slippage, fees, and risk-control rules. A high return, popularity, or large follower count does not mean lower risk. Set your copy-trading amount based on your own financial situation and risk tolerance.
