The biggest trade of the day was the purchase of 106,941 shares of Cerebras Systems across the ARKK and ARKW ETFs. The total value came to just over $28 million, based on a closing price of $231.01 per share.

Cerebras recently reported a narrower-than-expected adjusted loss of 4.5 cents per share, compared to analyst estimates of 17 cents. Core revenue hit a record $209.9 million, up 103% year over year. The company has also been working to reduce its reliance on Nvidia, which has been a factor drawing investor interest.

ARK Trims Palantir Despite Strong Earnings

ARK sold 43,874 shares of Palantir across ARKK and ARKW, with the total value of the sales reaching approximately $7.9 million at a closing price of $179.01.

This comes just after Palantir posted strong second-quarter results. The company reported a 93% jump in revenue and operating cash flow of $1.22 billion. Its U.S. commercial division grew 149% to $764 million in revenue.

Despite those numbers, ARK has been consistently selling Palantir shares over multiple days. Benzinga Edge data shows Palantir has a Momentum score in the 74th percentile but a Value score in just the 1st percentile.

Shopify Selling Continues

ARK also continued trimming its Shopify position, selling 57,045 shares across ARKK, ARKW, and ARKF. The total value of those sales was approximately $8.6 million.

This follows a pattern from earlier in the week where ARK has been steadily reducing its Shopify holdings.

On the buying side, ARK picked up 192,702 shares of Securitize Corp through its ARKF ETF for around $1.5 million. It also added 123,842 shares of Perceptive Capital Solutions Corp through ARKG, worth about $1.4 million.

Smaller trades included a purchase of 28,179 shares of Schrodinger through ARKG for around $525,000, and the sale of 51,171 shares of 10X Genomics for roughly $2.96 million.

The moves point to a clear shift in ARK’s portfolio, with Cerebras Systems now receiving the firm’s largest single-day investment. ARK’s ARKK ETF ended August 13 down 0.91%, while ARKF fell 0.45%.
