Foxconn has reportedly won a $52 billion AI server contract from SpaceX, according to Taiwan’s Economic Daily. The deal is the first AI server manufacturing order Foxconn has received from Elon Musk’s aerospace company.
$SPCX CEO Elon Musk just called the reported $53B Foxconn AI server deal “fake news,” denying the report.

The contract covers more than 13,000 AI server racks, each powered by Nvidia’s GB300 chips. At an estimated cost of $4 million per rack, the total deal value comes to roughly $52 billion.
Foxconn’s Taiwan-listed stock (TW:2317) fell 3.51% following the report.

Deliveries are expected to begin in late 2026 and run into the first quarter of 2027.
Until now, Dell Technologies and Super Micro Computer had been SpaceX’s go-to AI server suppliers. This contract shifts that relationship and gives Foxconn a complete lineup of major North American cloud and AI infrastructure customers.
Foxconn has not officially confirmed the deal. The company does not comment on individual customer orders.
However, Chairman Liu Yangwei has previously said Foxconn expects to command more than 40% of the global AI server market in 2026. AI rack shipments are forecast to double and grow sequentially through year-end.
Cloud and networking products, led by AI servers, are already the company’s largest revenue segment.
SpaceX recently increased its planned GB300 server deployment to around 13,000 racks, up from earlier estimates. The expansion is tied to SpaceX’s push into AI cloud computing following its acquisition of xAI in February 2026.
SpaceX has already signed compute agreements with Anthropic and Google. It is also reportedly in talks with the U.S. Department of Defense to supply AI data center capacity.
Landing SpaceX as a customer adds another major name to Foxconn’s roster alongside existing cloud and AI infrastructure clients.
Foxconn has said demand for its AI server business remains strong. The company has previously pointed to surging orders from cloud providers as a key growth driver.
The reported SpaceX deal would be one of the largest single AI server contracts on record, based on the estimated per-rack pricing outlined in the Economic Daily report.
SpaceX plans to use the server infrastructure to support both its own AI models and external customers through large-scale GPU computing services.
