FreeCast (CAST) stock jumped as high as 147% on Tuesday, hitting $2.1250 during the session, after the company announced it had gained full control of Investor News Channel and its digital platform InvestorNewsChannel.com.
FreeCast, Inc. Class A Common Stock, CAST
The stock opened below $1.00 before the news hit and saw trading volume of 83.54 million shares, compared to a three-month daily average of around 18.16 million.
Despite the rally, CAST is still down roughly 90% since it went public in March 2026.
FreeCast plans to relaunch Investor News Channel as a 24/7 global free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) network in November 2026. The revamped channel will focus on business and financial content rather than real-time market tick-by-tick coverage.
Planned programming includes CEO interviews, company profiles, analyst commentary, investor education, and corporate documentaries. The network will also cover artificial intelligence, energy, healthcare, fintech, real estate, and emerging technologies.
FreeCast is building the channel around a content syndication model. Rather than producing all programming in-house, the company plans to open the network to established financial publishers, analysts, documentary makers, and independent creators.
Content partners can distribute existing programming through one central destination without running their own FAST channel. FreeCast will share advertising revenue with qualifying partners, while those partners retain ownership of their content.
FreeCast CEO William Mobley said the model addresses a real gap. “There is an extraordinary amount of high-quality financial and business programming being created every day, but much of it lives in fragmented destinations,” he said.
The company expects the model to reduce its own production costs by turning existing business videos into scheduled television content. It also supports FreeCast’s push to grow advertising revenue from financial services and high-value product categories.
The relaunched Investor News Channel will run on FreeCast’s existing streaming infrastructure, content management tools, advertising systems, and multi-device distribution network.
FreeCast operates a streaming media technology business built around Platform-as-a-Service, content aggregation, advertising, and digital distribution. The Investor News Channel gives it another property to apply those tools to a specialized programming vertical.
Before the November 2026 launch, FreeCast expects to announce programming deals, distribution arrangements, and the names of participating media organizations.
Those deals will shape the initial content lineup and how much programming will be available at launch.
The only analyst covering CAST is Maxim Group’s Allen Klee, who rates it a Buy with a $6 price target, representing around 247% upside from current levels.
