Swissquote Bank Europe executed the purchase, with Taurus handling custody.

In Europe, it now sits just ahead of Sweden’s H100 Group, which holds 3,506 BTC. H100 had more than tripled its holdings in August after acquiring Norwegian companies holding 2,455 BTC. Germany’s Bitcoin Group SE still leads both with 3,605 BTC.

Capital B also holds 61 BTC separately for operational purposes, which it keeps out of its treasury metrics.

The company was originally known as The Blockchain Group before rebranding in July 2025 to focus on its Bitcoin treasury strategy.

Other Corporate Bitcoin Buyers Keep Accumulating

Capital B is not alone in adding to its Bitcoin holdings.

Japan-based Metaplanet added 2,823 BTC in the second quarter for around $222 million. Its total holdings now stand at 43,000 BTC, making it the third-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder behind Strategy and Twenty One Capital.

Strategy, the world’s largest corporate Bitcoin holder, resumed buying in August after a two-month pause. It bought 4,603 BTC for $370 million, bringing its total to 845,050 BTC acquired for a combined $63.3 billion.

Not all companies are moving in the same direction. K Wave Media and Sequans Communications have both moved to unwind their Bitcoin treasury positions.

Capital B last made a purchase of this size in September 2025, when it bought 551 BTC for 54.7 million euros. This month’s buy of just 6 BTC in August made the September acquisition stand out as a return to larger accumulation.

Bitcoin was trading at around $79,500 at the time of the announcement, down from a local high of around $81,700 the previous Thursday.
