XRP is hovering just above the $1.00 mark, a level that has become the key line of defense for the token. Bears have been in control for several weeks, and the technical picture continues to point downward.

The token is trading below its 10-, 20-, 30-, 50-, 100-, and 200-day moving averages. That kind of alignment across all timeframes is a strong signal that sellers are firmly in charge right now.
The 50-day EMA sits near $1.10, the 100-day near $1.18, and the 200-day EMA around $1.37. Each of these levels would act as resistance if XRP attempts a recovery.
Crypto analyst Ali Charts noted on X that XRP is now down 71.7% from its July 2025 all-time high of $3.66, adding that the token is trading at “extremely oversold levels” with “new buy signals beginning to emerge.” The tweet pointed to growing interest from technical traders watching for a potential floor.

After such a deep correction, XRP is trading at extremely oversold levels, and new buy signals are beginning to emerge.

US-listed XRP spot ETFs have seen little activity. Cumulative inflows remain stable at $1.51 billion, with assets under management at $950 million. But day-to-day flows have been quiet, which reflects low institutional appetite.
The Crypto Fear & Greed Index sits at 29, placing sentiment firmly in “Fear” territory. That reading has stayed low due to geopolitical uncertainty and a lack of fresh catalysts to spark buying.
On the derivatives side, perpetual futures Open Interest climbed to 2.74 billion XRP, up from 2.62 billion the day before. That’s a 23% increase compared to early August averages, which could signal growing speculative interest.
Technical analyst @ashleytheduke highlighted XRP’s pattern of lower highs and lower lows on the daily chart. The move below $1.06 removed a layer of short-term support and has weakened the near-term outlook.
$XRP: Running Out of Chances at Key Support
XRP continues to respect its primary downtrend, with the broader structure still producing a series of lower highs and lower lows. The bearishly crossed 100/50-Day EMAs are also continuing to cap any recovery attempts.

Analyst Apex_Legends identified a descending channel and placed initial downside support near $0.9760. If $1.00 fails to hold, classic pivot analysis points to $0.993, then $0.926, and further down to $0.764.
The RSI stands at roughly 33–35, close to oversold but without a confirmed bullish crossover. Stochastic RSI Fast is near 9.77 and Williams %R is around -96.54, both reflecting heavy selling pressure.
For any recovery, XRP first needs to reclaim $1.06, then push through resistance between $1.08 and $1.15. The most recent trading price remains around $1.00–$1.01.
